Managed Services
Management & Monitoring
Our Remote Management and Monitoring service will provide you with the Back office Support you will need without investing in your own infrastructure. Our NOC provides us with the information we need to make sure that your network is running smoothly, and alerts us immediately when it is not. Our technology platform not only keeps track of operating system issues, but also lets us know about the applications that are running on the computers as well. We monitor all critical and non-critical events daily, and then provide you with monthly reports that give you the necessary information to make proactive decisions about the status of your network. Some of the services and applications we monitor are:
- Hardware Failures and issues (Failed redundant hard drives, power supplies, thermal issues, etc.)
- Operating system and application issues
- Exchange Services such as the Information Store and Transport Services
- Anti-Virus programs and updates
In addition to the monitoring of the servers, they are also being managed for you. Preventive maintenance can be the largest expense of running a computer network that includes servers. It usually requires an in-house IT administrator or a consultant that makes regular onsite visits to update and maintain the network. Our NOC will provide remote remediation services on a best effort basis. They will try to remotely resolve issues such as stopped services, Patch management issues, or Applications issues. If they are not able to resolve the issue remotely, they will dispatch a technician to resolve the issue onsite.
Infrastructure Management
Keeping track of your technology assets and network devices can be a daunting task for non-technical people, especially small business owners. Understanding what you have and how they are connected is very overwhelming, and when trying to explain to an IT person can make you feel uneasy. In many cases, this is the reason many people are so reluctant to change IT providers no matter how bad the service is. They feel trapped by the fact their IT person knows more about their computer infrastructure than they do. This will not happen with the Network Documentation and Asset Management binder we provide every customer we have. This binder contains information about all of the servers, desktops, and network devices in the network. It will provide the following information:
- The name of the computer or network device and what function it serves in the network
- The hardware configuration of every computer and device on the network
- The main services that run on that particular computer or device
- The usernames and passwords for every computer and network device
- A network map that shows how everything is connected
